The Chronicles 21 International Film Festival 2026 (C21IFF 2026) officially invites filmmakers from across the globe to submit their films for the upcoming edition scheduled in April 2026.
C21IFF 2026 aims to celebrate cinematic excellence, encourage emerging storytellers, and foster cultural exchange through powerful visual storytelling.

The primary objective of Chronicles 21 International Film Festival 2026 (C21IFF 2026) is to promote awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the art of cinema while inspiring cross-cultural dialogue through film.
The festival welcomes independent creators, production houses, students, and professionals to participate.
🎞 Programme Categories
Films can be submitted in the following categories (Maximum duration: 30 minutes):
- Short Films
- Animation Films
- Documentary Films
- AI Films
- Impact Films
- Advertisement Films
- Corporate Films
- NGO Films
- Experimental Films
- Music Videos
Selected films will be placed into appropriate programmes by the Festival Organizing Committee.
Participation implies full acceptance of festival rules and regulations.
📅 Important Dates
- Early Deadline: Till 5th March 2026 – ₹200
- Regular Deadline: 6th March – 15th March 2026 – ₹400
- Late Deadline: 16th March – 31st March 2026 – ₹600
- Final Submission Deadline: 31st March 2026
- Selection Notification: First week of April 2026
- Festival Dates: April 2026
No entries will be accepted after 31st March 2026.
📌 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for submission:
- Films must be completed between 1st May 2016 and 31st March 2026
- Maximum runtime: 30 minutes (including titles and credits)
- Films may be in any language or silent
- Multiple submissions are allowed (separate fee per entry)
🎥 Submission Format
- File format: MP4
- Submission via Google Drive link
- The link must be accessible (“Anyone with the link can view/download”)
Incomplete or inaccessible submissions will be disqualified.

- Best Music & Background Score

- Best Impact Film
- Best Advertisement Film
- Best NGO Film
- Best Corporate Film
- Best Animation Film
- Best Experimental Film
- Best Music Video
Certificates and awards will be couriered to winners who are unable to attend (courier charges applicable).

By submitting your film, you confirm:
- You are the authorized rights holder
- Submission does not guarantee selection
- Fees are non-refundable
- Films cannot be withdrawn once submitted
- The festival may use excerpts for promotional purposes
- Decisions of the Selection Committee and Jury are final
The festival reserves the right to amend rules if necessary.
🚫 Prohibited Content
Films containing the following will not be accepted:
- Explicit nudity
- Graphic violence
- Racism or hate speech
- Content promoting communal disharmony
- Disrespect or abuse toward women
- Any content violating Indian law
